The Bastille is a recording and mixing studio set within Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, Virginia. The studio is aimed at providing a relaxed and affordable space while still offering great sounding rooms and excellent vintage and new equipment. We are located minutes outside of Washington, D.C. and within close walking distance of dozens of restaurants and markets at Shirlington Village. Our control, isolation, and 17' ceiling drum rooms have been set up with full-band live tracking in mind and are amply equipped to encourage creative recording techniques far beyond the capabilities of the typical home studio, while retaining the comfort and character. Additionally, we have tie lines running to the main room at Inner Ear, allowing simultaneous use of both studios (extra booking fees apply.) The Bastille is operated by Eamonn Aiken, and welcomes guest engineers.
